Silatronix® awarded $10.1 million Navy ONR contract

The contract, entitled “Organosilicon Electrolytes for Safe, High Energy, High-Nickel NMC Li-ion Batteries” will focus on the use of Organosilicon (OS) electrolytes to improve the cycling stability of Li-ion cells using NMC622 and NMC811 cathode materials in combination with various state-of-the-art anode materials. $15-million DOE/NNSA award for medical isotope
JANESVILLE, Wis., Aug. 9, 2019 – SHINE Medical Technologies LLC today announced it has received a $15-million award from the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA). The award was made by the agency as part of its effort to establish a reliable, U.S.-produced supply of molybdenum-99 (Mo-99), the most commonly used medical isotope, without the use of highly enriched uranium.
